CPU Circuit Design Engineer/Lead

Intel's Client Computing Group (CCG) is seeking a seasoned CPU Circuit Design Engineer/Lead to join their P-Core design team in Bangalore. This role is part of ACE India, focusing on developing Intel's latest CPUs using cutting-edge process technology. The position combines technical leadership in memory block design with hands-on circuit implementation.

The role demands expertise in memory design concepts (SRAM/RF/ROM), static timing analysis, and post-silicon analysis. You'll be responsible for developing methodologies for high-performance memory blocks operating at over 5GHz while optimizing for power and area. The position involves close collaboration with layout and floor planning teams, implementing new features, and managing clock distribution at various levels.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to impact Intel's core CPU technology. You'll be working within CCG, Intel's largest business unit, which drives PC product development across various form factors including notebooks, desktops, and 2-in-1s. The group is central to Intel's strategy of delivering leadership products on a predictable cadence.

The ideal candidate brings a strong academic background in Electrical or Computer Engineering, coupled with extensive industry experience. Technical expertise should span digital design, Verilog/VHDL, scripting languages, and circuit analysis. The role requires both technical depth in circuit design and the ability to lead and collaborate across teams.
