Intel's Client Computing Group (CCG) is seeking a Deep Learning Hardware Engineer to join their Client Graphic and AI group. This role combines hardware architecture with deep learning expertise, focusing on Neural Processing Unit (NPU) development. The position offers an opportunity to shape Intel's AI product roadmap through architectural innovation and deep learning optimization.

The role requires extensive experience in both hardware architecture and AI/deep learning, making it ideal for someone with a strong technical background in both domains. Responsibilities For Deep Learning Hardware Engineer

  • Design Space Architectural Exploration for AI/DL Inference on Intel NPU
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop RTL prototypes of key architectural features
  • Support cross divisional collaboration between NPU teams
  • Collaborate with Workload and Algorithm teams to analyze requirements
  • Patent and publish key innovative ideas

Requirements For Deep Learning Hardware Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering with 10+ years experience, or Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with 5+ years
  • 3+ years of experience in HW Architecture
  • 2+ years of experience working in the AI/DL domain
  • Experience in AI model architectures, layer types, ops, activation functions
  • Experience with AI framework, AI models, and basic neural computing operations
  • Experience in computer architecture concepts
  • Hands-on experience working with Git
  • Experience with modern DL topologies
