Description For GPU Software Development Engineer

Intel's GPU System Software Engineering Group (GSSE) is seeking a Senior GPU Software Development Engineer to join their team within the Data Center and AI division (DCAI). This role is at the forefront of developing new visual and parallel compute technologies, spanning from AI and HPC in data centers to client applications and power-efficient mobile markets.

The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge GPU technologies, developing software that enables Intel's GPU capabilities across the entire stack. You'll be working with firmware, device drivers, APIs, and application layer solutions, while also creating the necessary tools and infrastructure for GPU development and optimization.

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with 7+ years experience, or Master's with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years
  • 6+ years of experience with C or C++ project development
  • 5+ years of experience with open-source software
  • Technical expertise in Linux Operating system architecture
  • Experience with Linux gaming stack (preferred)
  • Experience with AI/Machine Learning tools (preferred)
  • Experience with Vulkan/OpenGL APIs (preferred)
