Description For Graphics Hardware Engineer

Intel's Graphics Hardware Engineering team is at the forefront of developing next-generation Graphics and High-Performance Compute IPs for a wide range of products including Integrated, Discrete, and Data Centre AI solutions. This senior-level position focuses on pre-silicon RTL design and verification, working with cutting-edge graphics architecture and compute systems.

The role involves close collaboration with architects, micro-architects, and simulator experts in Intel's Client Computing Group (CCG), which drives business strategy and product development for Intel's PC products and platforms. As a Graphics Hardware Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing logic design, RTL coding, and simulation for graphics IPs that power solutions used by millions globally.

Responsibilities For Graphics Hardware Engineer

  • Develops logic design, RTL coding, and simulation for graphics IPs
  • Participates in architecture and microarchitecture feature definition
  • Optimizes logic to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals
  • Reviews verification plans and implementations
  • Drives unit level verification and resolves failing RTL tests
  • Supports SoC customers for GPU block integration

Requirements For Graphics Hardware Engineer

  • Bachelor's in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 7+ years experience or Master's with 4+ years experience
  • RTL development and debug experience
  • Frontend validation methodologies experience
  • Experience with functional and code coverage closures
  • Design knowledge in synthesis and timing analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter
