Responsibilities For Java Software Engineer (contract)
- Design and develop secure, scalable applications for healthcare sector
- Work with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers
- Work across cloud computing, middleware, operating systems, applications, SaaS, and PaaS solutions
Requirements For Java Software Engineer (contract)
- Minimum of 5 years of back-end development experience (Python preferred, Java is a plus)
- Experience with GitHub Actions and API development
- Experience with front-end frameworks using TypeScript (Angular preferred, React, Vue acceptable)
- Familiarity with TDD in both front-end and back-end technologies
- Knowledge of agile methodology and pair programming (XP, Scrum)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Concourse, Bamboo preferred)
- Experience with databases, particularly PostGres
- Ability to guide a product team in a player-coach role
