Cloud Developer

JLG, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, is seeking a Cloud Developer to join their team in Frederick, Maryland. Founded in 1969, JLG has established itself as a global leader in the access equipment industry, manufacturing mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, and utility vehicles.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, specifically focusing on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). As a Cloud Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of scalability, reliability, and security. The position requires a strong technical background with at least 3 years of experience in AKS or related Kubernetes solutions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve creating both high-level and low-level designs for AKS-based solutions, managing Kubernetes objects, and maintaining deployment procedures. You'll also be responsible for critical security tasks such as updating DNS certificates and managing secret certificates. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and project managers.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, along with extensive experience in containerization tools like Docker, automation tools such as Helm and Terraform, and GitOps tools like Flux CD or Argo CD. Strong knowledge of Azure policies and modern application architectures is essential.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $91,800 to $153,200, reflecting the high-level technical expertise required.
