Responsibilities For Controls Systems Engineer IV

  • Design and configure complex building control systems including fire, security, and low voltage control sub-systems
  • Develop and test software programs for system operation
  • Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, network layouts and electrical schematics
  • Coordinate creation of drawings and equipment schedules for submittals
  • Assist in loading and commissioning system controllers
  • Provide field change information for as-built drawings and software
  • Perform site-specific training for owner/operator
  • Participate in release meetings with project field team

Requirements For Controls Systems Engineer IV

  • Minimum 7 years experience or associate degree with 7 years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of construction, mechanical, electrical, or HVAC service industry
  • Experience with mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, control theory
  • Experience in integration of low voltage building sub-systems using protocols like LON, BACnet
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly computer-related drafting tools like Visio
  • Understanding of IP networking for building automation systems
  • Understanding of Tridium/Niagara Framework
