Description For Lead Technical Program Manager

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in the Chief Technology Office at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that help achieve business goals across the firm. This role requires deep technical expertise and leadership to guide cutting-edge projects, fostering growth and innovation in a dynamic environment.

You will leverage your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories to develop innovative solutions while effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will be crucial in navigating through ambiguity and change, ensuring technology initiatives align with business goals.

The role is part of the Chief Technology Office, which oversees enabling components including top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management processes, and technology workforce strategy. This position is classified as a High Risk Role (HRR), requiring enhanced pre-hire screening including criminal and credit background checks.

You will work with cross-functional teams, champion agile methodologies, and contribute to operational plans and risk management strategies. The ideal candidate will have advanced communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex technical programs in a large organization.

Responsibilities For Lead Technical Program Manager

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions
