As a Data Engineer III within the International Consumer Bank, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional value and seamless experiences to our customers. You will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on specific banking functions and products. Your role involves building data pipelines and reporting capabilities for areas such as finance, treasury operations, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to end-to-end data pipeline solutions on cloud infrastructure
• Use domain modeling techniques to build best-in-class business products
• Structure software for easy understanding, testing, and evolution
• Build scalable solutions that avoid single points of failure
• Develop secure code to protect customers and the organization
• Investigate and fix issues promptly
• Ensure zero downtime for end-users during releases
• Optimize data writing and reading for performance
• Maintain system reliability and ease of operation

Required Skills:

• Formal training or certification in data engineering concepts
• Recent hands-on experience as a data engineer
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience in designing and implementing effective tests
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Understanding of cloud technologies and distributed systems
• Knowledge of data transformation frameworks and pipeline orchestration tools
• Ability to manage and optimize queries for large data volumes

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in highly regulated environments
• Understanding of AWS cloud technologies
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks
• Familiarity with event-based architecture, data streaming, and messaging frameworks
