Director of Software Engineering - AML/KYC and Controls

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Director of Software Engineering to join our AML/KYC team within Consumer & Community Banking. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technology leader to drive significant impact across our organization.

As a Director of Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for leading technology and process implementations for our AML/KYC product, managing a team of talented engineers, and driving cloud adoption initiatives. You'll work at the intersection of technology and business, making critical decisions that influence team resources, budget, and tactical operations.

The role requires a strong technical background with 10+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years leading technologists. You'll need expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka), Java Spring Boot, React, and database technologies. Your responsibilities will include delivering technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses while ensuring proper governance and control measures.

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $166,250 to $260,000, along with comprehensive benefits including health care coverage, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and mental health support.
