Join JPMorgan Chase as a Jobshare Infrastructure Engineer in a unique part-time role where two people share the responsibilities. This position offers the flexibility of working 19 hours per week while being part of a leading global financial institution's infrastructure team.
As an Infrastructure Engineer III within the Infrastructure Platform/Data Protection and Recovery organization, you'll leverage your expertise in software, applications, and technical processes. The role involves working on projects of moderate scope, focusing on improving data and systems at scale, and ensuring end-to-end application monitoring.
You'll be responsible for resolving technical challenges, managing incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing post-mortem processes. The position requires strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines, including hardware, networking, databases, and storage engineering. You'll work with cloud technologies and contribute to automation initiatives.
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week (either Tuesday-Thursday or Wednesday-Friday), offering the perfect balance between professional growth and personal flexibility. - Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
- Resolves most nuances and determines appropriate escalation path
- Drives the daily activities supporting the standard capacity process applications
- Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks
- Manages incidents, performs root cause analysis, and implements post-mortem processes
- Designs systems that can scale efficiently to handle increased load and demand
- Implements robust monitoring and observability practices
Requirements For Jobshare Infrastructure Engineer - Part Time/Jobshare 19 hours
- 5+ years as Infrastructure Engineer in an enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines (hardware, networking, databases, storage)
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, etc.)
- Experience with multiple cloud technologies
- Experience with Data Protection solutions (Cohesity or Commvault preferred)
- This is a 3 days position, working Tues/Wed/Thur or Wed/Thur/Fri
