As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a Security Architect, you will lead your team in designing solutions for Cyber, Security, Fraud, and Risk domains. You'll need to understand business goals and requirements to align program and roadmap strategies. Your role involves defining solutions that utilize Digital-wide or Enterprise-wide assets, incorporating both existing and new technologies. You'll drive proof-of-concepts and pilot implementations to gain insights and make informed decisions. Your solutions will impact both internal and external users, with a focus on external user experience. The role requires strong technical expertise in security architecture, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities For Lead Architect - Security
- Develop, communicate, and manage the Technology Roadmap
- Stay informed on security standards, authentication protocols, and products
- Lead Special Initiatives as directed by Senior Management
- Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss technical approaches
- Define technical target state and drive strategy achievement
- Participate in architecture governance bodies
- Evaluate and provide feedback on new technologies
- Execute creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting
- Develop secure and high-quality production code
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams
Requirements For Lead Architect - Security
- 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering
- Experience leading team architecture implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and agile delivery experience
- Experience in application security (OAuth, OIDC, FIDO, multi-factor authentication)
- Knowledge of internet technology and cloud native experience
- Understanding of security constructs and PKI
- Experience with secure coding practices and threat modeling
- Strong knowledge of OWASP top 10 security issues
- Experience with Zero Trust Model and cloud security
