Lead Software Engineer - Python / DevOps - Markets Technology - Athens

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities Trading Technology Organization. As a seasoned member of an agile team, you'll design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. The role is based in Athens and involves working closely with the London Business and Global partners.

The position sits within the Equities Execution Services Technology department, focusing on DevOps engineering. You'll be responsible for critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas, supporting the firm's business objectives. Key responsibilities include software development, automation framework building, production environment optimization, and system monitoring.

Required skills include proficiency in Python and/or C++, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and strong understanding of software development lifecycle. Preferred qualifications include exposure to cloud technologies, container technologies, and knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading.

The role is part of JPMorgan's expanding presence in Athens, Greece, where we recently opened a new office. This investment supports our organic growth in the country and bolsters innovation efforts of our Payments and Markets business globally. J.P. Morgan has been operating in Greece for over five decades, providing Investment Banking, Payments and Asset & Wealth Management services.
