Lead Software Engineer - Web

At JPMorgan Chase's Consumer and Community Banking division, we're seeking a Lead Engineer - Web to join our team in building state-of-the-art technology products. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, focusing on creating high-quality frontend user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality frontend user interfaces using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, designers, and other teams
• Write clean, concise, and secure code for both frontend and backend components
• Engage in pair programming, code reviews, and project estimation
• Design and troubleshoot complex technical solutions
• Lead technical decision-making and contribute to system architecture
• Foster a diverse and inclusive team culture

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Frontend Development
• Strong backend programming experience
• Mobile-first and responsive design expertise
• Cross-browser debugging capabilities
• API integration experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Figma and technical UI/UX implementation
• GraphQL knowledge
• Modern development trends awareness including AI/ML
• Enterprise SDLC experience
• Agile methodology expertise
• AWS or cloud technology experience
