Site Reliability Engineer III

As a Site Reliability Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you will solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions. Through code and cloud infrastructure, you will configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and their associated infrastructure to independently decompose and iteratively improve on existing solutions. You are a significant contributor to your team by sharing your knowledge of end-to-end operations, availability, reliability, and scalability of your application or platform.

The role involves guiding and assisting others in building appropriate level designs and gaining consensus from peers. You'll collaborate with software engineers and teams to design and implement deployment approaches using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. Your responsibilities include implementing infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms, while working with technical experts and stakeholders to resolve complex problems.

As an SRE III, you'll be working with service level indicators and objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers. The position requires proficiency in site reliability culture and principles, strong programming skills in languages like Python or Java, and experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, and Prometheus. You'll be working with modern technologies including containers, Kubernetes, and various CI/CD tools.
