As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Data & Analytics Service team aligned to Corporate Technology Division, you will be part of an agile team working to enhance, design, and deliver software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products. You will execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within technical products, applications, or systems.
Our Corporate Technology team relies on driven professionals to develop applications and provide tech support for all corporate functions across our network. Your work will impact lives across the financial spectrum and all divisions including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and the Corporate Administrative Office.
As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you will:
- Execute standard software solutions and technical troubleshooting
- Write secure, high-quality code using Python and other programming languages
- Design and develop with consideration of system implications
- Apply SDLC tools and methodologies
- Analyze data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making
- Learn and implement secure coding practices
- Contribute to team culture and collaboration
Required Skills:
- 2+ years software engineering experience
- Strong Python programming skills
- System design and application development expertise

- Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language
- Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain
- Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems
- Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets

Requirements For Software Engineer II- Python + React
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience
