As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Data & Analytics Service team aligned to Corporate Technology Division, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You'll be executing software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within technical products, applications, or systems.
Our Corporate Technology team relies on driven professionals to develop applications and provide tech support for all corporate functions across our network. Your efforts will touch lives across the financial spectrum and all divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and Corporate Administrative Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute standard software solutions and technical troubleshooting
- Write secure, high-quality code with limited guidance
- Design and develop with consideration of system implications
- Apply SDLC tools to improve automation value
- Perform technical troubleshooting for basic complexity issues
- Analyze data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making
- Learn and apply secure coding practices and methodologies
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of applied software engineering experience
- System design and application development expertise
- Experience with modern programming languages and databases
- Strong coding abilities and SDLC knowledge
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD
- Understanding of cloud, AI, ML, or mobile technologies

- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
