As a Software Engineer III Front Office Athena Python Platform (Precious Metals) at JPMorgan Chase within Commercial and Investment Bank-Commodities Technologies team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

You will be part of a Global Front Office Technology Team that interfaces with Trading, Sales and Middle Office and works closely with Quantitative Research and other technology teams to build applications for the Precious Metals and Agricultural Products desks in Commodities. The role involves carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Trading, Quantitative Research, Sales and Middle Office teams
• Develop and maintain secure, high-quality production code
• Design and architect complex applications
• Analyze and visualize large data sets for continuous improvement
• Contribute to software engineering best practices and innovation

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
• Experience with system design and application development
• Understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC
• Knowledge of financial technology platforms (Athena preferred)
