Description For Software Engineer III - L2,L3 Support - DevOps,SRE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank. You'll help build meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems. Our support and software development activities focus on enhancing existing systems, developing infrastructure, and streamlining tasks through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute software solutions, design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents and facilitate blameless post-mortems
  • Identify application patterns and analytics for better service level objectives
  • Design self-healing and resiliency patterns
  • Design automated software and product upgrades
  • Help development teams with CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Collaborate across the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of applied software engineering experience
  • Expertise in at least one technology stack
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Understanding of SRE concepts
  • Linux experience
