Description For Cloud Engineer

KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team in Herndon, Virginia. This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and national security, making it an exciting opportunity for experienced technologists passionate about making a difference in national security.

The position requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience and an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions while working within Agile teams. The role combines traditional cloud engineering with cutting-edge machine learning integration, data pipeline development, and cybersecurity enhancement.

Responsibilities For Cloud Engineer

  • Support technical program management including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Work within Agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions
  • Create customer-facing dashboards and maintain system documentation
  • Provide recommendations for cybersecurity and IT operations enhancements
  • Collaborate on platform development with UI/UX mindset
  • Integrate datasets with corporate machine learning tooling
  • Develop and maintain scalable data solutions

Requirements For Cloud Engineer

  • Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years experience
  • Experience with cybersecurity, IT systems, and A&A processes
  • Experience with facilitation across multi-contractor and staff teams
