Description For Systems Engineer (GEDI)

KBR is seeking an Entry-level Systems Engineer to join their space operations team, specifically supporting the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) mission on the International Space Station. Responsibilities For Systems Engineer (GEDI)

  • Real-time command and control of the payload from the Science and Mission Operations Center
  • Assembly and uplink of mission planning products to the payload for operations control
  • Development, maintenance, and execution of Mission Operations ground tools
  • Collection and analysis of payload health and status metrics
  • On-call operations support for unexpected anomaly resolution

Requirements For Systems Engineer (GEDI)

  • 0-2 years of directly related experience
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages
