Description For Site Reliability Engineer

Keeper Security, a leading cybersecurity company trusted by millions globally, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their DevOps team. This role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work or hybrid options in El Dorado Hills, CA, or Chicago, IL. The position focuses on ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of their software systems that provide zero-trust privileged access management solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles, with strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD practices. You'll work alongside Information Security and DevOps teams to design and maintain highly scalable infrastructure, supporting critical compliance certifications including FedRAMP, SOC 2, and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure automation with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes, ensuring high system availability, and implementing robust monitoring solutions. The role requires strong technical skills in Linux systems, scripting languages, and modern DevOps tools, combined with excellent communication abilities to work effectively across teams.

Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure and tools for CI/CD
  • Ensure high availability and performance of production systems
  • Manage infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer

  • 8+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure management tools
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools
  • Solid experience with Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows systems
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and incident management
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to GovCloud involvement
