Head of Engineering: High Frequency Trading (HFT)

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering/Engineering Lead with extensive HFT options trading experience to join their team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in High Frequency Options Trading systems (7+ years experience) and be proficient in or willing to learn Rust. The role involves leading the Options HFT engineering team, driving continuous improvements, and supporting the trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 7 engineers
• Specialize in low latency option HFT trading
• Design and implement pragmatic solutions for complex problems

Required Skills:

• Expert in High Frequency Options Trading systems (7+ years experience)
• Strong experience with Rust and/or C/C++
• Excellent understanding of algorithmic option trading
• Experience with SQL databases
• Familiarity with functional and component testing
• Low-latency options experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with crypto exchange connectivity and/or FPGA technologies
• Strong knowledge of gRPC and interaction with Node.js
