SolarWinds Application Engineer

KIHOMAC is seeking a SolarWinds Application Engineer to join their Integrated Solutions Group (ISG) in Colorado Springs. This role focuses on managing and maintaining critical network monitoring infrastructure using SolarWinds and DataCenter Expert StruxureWare applications. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in network monitoring, system administration, and security compliance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network monitoring systems are optimally maintained to detect and resolve performance issues quickly. They will work with various monitoring tools, particularly SolarWinds Orion, to manage network performance and maintain system security. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Windows and Linux systems engineers, developers, and support teams.

Key responsibilities include managing SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), executing database maintenance, developing event products, and maintaining monitoring baselines. The position requires strong communication skills for interaction with leadership and team members, as well as the ability to provide technical guidance and documentation.

The salary range is competitive at $70,000 - $95,000, depending on experience. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred), DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification, and a Secret Security Clearance.
