Senior Backend Software Engineer

Kraken Technologies Germany is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their team in Berlin or Munich. As a core contributor to the KrakenFlow workflow management experience, you'll work on developing powerful features for the drag-n-drop workflow builder, form builder, and management & analytics pages. You'll be part of a global team fighting climate change by creating innovative solutions in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coding extensively in collaboration with experienced peers
• Ensuring clean software design and choosing appropriate technologies
• Building high-standard applications designed for global impact
• Onboarding team members and establishing a great developer experience
• Contributing to the company's mission of moving towards a lower carbon future

Required skills:

• Strong Python development experience
• Proficiency with Django or equivalent web frameworks
• Competence in domain modeling
• In-depth understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and GraphQL
• Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software
• Experience with Celery and async processing
• Knowledge of Postgres for database applications
