Technical Lead - Mainframe Application Developer

The position requires expertise in mainframe technologies, including COBOL programming in IBM z/OS environments, JCL, DB2/SQL, CICS, and various other mainframe tools. You'll conduct needs assessments, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications. The role involves both technical leadership and hands-on development work.

Key responsibilities include managing test batch efforts, coordinating with development teams, providing first-level testing support, and participating in release management. You'll work in a shift-based schedule (8 hours between 9am-9pm IST) with 24x6 on-call support rotation.

As part of the Kyndryl Consultant Profession, you'll collaborate with Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Subject Matter Experts. The company offers extensive learning opportunities, including access to certifications from Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Skillsoft.

The ideal candidate should have 10-14 years of mainframe programming experience, with at least 2 years in technical leadership.
