Description For QA Engineer

Lantum is seeking a QA Engineer to join their growing team. The role involves testing software applications to ensure quality and functionality meet the highest standards. The QA Engineer will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design test cases, and execute tests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and project scope
  • Identifying and reporting defects, and working with developers to resolve issues
  • Contributing to improving testing processes and practices
  • Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing tools

Responsibilities For QA Engineer

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to verify functionality, performance, and security of our software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and project scope
  • Identify and report defects, and work with developers to resolve issues
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and practices within the team
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing tools and technologies

Requirements For QA Engineer

JavaScript
Python
  • Proven experience in manual and automated software testing
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans
  • Experience in manual testing, exploratory testing, regression testing, and performance testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Basic programming skills, preferably in Javascript and/or Python
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
