Description For Unreal Engine Developer – Help shape the future of LEGO® Games

Join LEGO Games as an Unreal Engine Developer in a role that combines creative gaming technology with the iconic LEGO brand. As part of the Unreal Plugin Team in Billund, you'll work in a Scrum environment with high autonomy, collaborating directly with Epic Games and teams across LEGO Games. The position focuses on developing tools and systems that bring digital LEGO bricks to life using Unreal Engine.

Your work will directly impact the future of LEGO Games, as you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining asset pipelines, developing plugins, and implementing game systems using both Unreal Engine Blueprints and C++. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with both internal LEGO teams and external partners, ensuring consistent tooling and asset pipelines across multiple projects.

Responsibilities For Unreal Engine Developer – Help shape the future of LEGO® Games

  • Design, implement, and support game systems using Unreal Engine Blueprints and C++
  • Develop and maintain tools and asset pipelines across multiple projects and platforms
  • Build plugins and technical solutions for digital LEGO Bricks
  • Collaborate with internal LEGO teams and external partners, including Epic Games
  • Maintain documentation on tool usage, versions, and data formats
  • Support release pipeline using CI/CD automation systems

Requirements For Unreal Engine Developer – Help shape the future of LEGO® Games

  • Proven professional experience working with Unreal Engine
  • Strong C++ programming skills and experience with Blueprints
  • Solid understanding of 3D math (linear algebra, trigonometry, matrices)
  • Experience with software design - architectural and algorithmic level
  • Experience building tools, plugins, and infrastructure
  • Self-driven, proactive mindset
  • Ability to organize and influence work and collaborate across teams
