Engineer II, Front End

Levi Strauss & Co., a pioneering force in the global apparel industry, is seeking an Engineer II, Front End to join their Digital and Technology Engineering team. This role is crucial in designing and developing user-facing applications to enhance the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) experience. The position combines technical expertise in front-end development with DevOps engineering, requiring both hands-on development skills and project management capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in transforming Levi's into a world-class digital retailer, working on cutting-edge retail applications and microservices using modern cloud technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure). You'll collaborate closely with Product teams and engineers to create applications that enhance consumer experiences and drive revenue growth. The role demands expertise in React Native, React JS/Angular JS, and various modern web technologies, along with a strong understanding of mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing highly available systems, conducting detailed analysis of business requirements, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and driving automated solutions. You'll work in an agile environment, participating in code reviews and collaborating with UX/UI designers to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
