LexisNexis Reed Tech is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their innovative team. As part of LexisNexis Legal & Professional, we're a digital pioneer bringing legal and business information online through Lexis® and Nexis® services. The role involves complex software development within our product line, focusing on backend systems and APIs. You'll be working on the Reed Tech suite of SingleSource™ for Medical Devices, Drug Products, and Navigator™ for Drug Labels, helping life sciences companies manage product data and meet compliance requirements.
The position requires expertise in Azure cloud technologies, .NET, C#, and various database systems. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing complex software solutions, mentoring junior developers, and working directly with customers to translate their needs into technical solutions. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement near our Horsham, PA office.

Responsibilities For Senior Backend Developer
- Interface with technical personnel to finalize requirements
- Write and review detailed specifications for complex system components
- Complete complex bug fixes
- Translate product requirements into software designs
- Implement development processes and coding best practices

- Resolve complex technical issues
Requirements For Senior Backend Developer
- BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices
- Expertise in .Net, C#, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL
- Strong experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Cognitive Search, Blob/Table Storage, CosmosDB, Data Factory, and API Management
- Proficiency in version control, TDD, CI/CD, Clean Code principles
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must pass background investigation and achieve Public Trust security clearance
