Senior Software Engineer II

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their Business Services vertical. This role is part of a team that delivers high-quality software solutions focused on helping businesses drive revenue growth, maximize operational efficiencies, and improve customer experience.

The position involves complex software development within the risk assessment and business services domain, working on solutions for Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorist Financing, Identity Authentication & Verification, and Fraud and Credit Risk mitigation. As a Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems using PHP/Laravel, managing database architectures, and creating RESTful APIs.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience with PHP/Laravel development and strong expertise in database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL). You'll be working in a collaborative environment, mentoring junior team members, and directly contributing to the architecture and methodology of cross-functional software products.

Key technical requirements include proficiency in Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture. You'll need strong knowledge of security best practices, OOP principles, and MVC architecture. Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and understanding of front-end technologies will be valuable.
