Responsibilities For Director, Software Engineering
- Lead the Security Foundations Engineering (SFE) team within the Information Security team
- Drive the development and implementation of securing large-scale, distributed systems and microservices
- Oversee strategy for Identity, Access, Crypto/Key Management, and Vulnerability Management
- Direct execution of large-scale programs and guide strategic direction of security architecture
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing security infrastructure team
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Engineering to integrate security solutions
Requirements For Director, Software Engineering
- 10+ years in security engineering leadership
- 10+ years in security building and deploying security architecture at scale
- 4+ years experience in cloud data infrastructure, search infrastructure, ML platforms, or large Hadoop infrastructure
- Ability to lead by example and inspire the team
- Experience with building and operating cryptographic systems at scale
- Strong leadership abilities to communicate and drive cross-functional efforts
