Senior Staff AI Engineer - Core AI - Agentic Model

LinkedIn's Core AI organization is seeking a Senior Staff AI Engineer to join their groundbreaking initiative in developing agentic models. As a Senior Staff Engineer, you'll lead the development of in-house large language models (LLMs) that surpass leading open-source models in areas such as multi-step reasoning, instruction understanding, and environmental interaction. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in deep learning architectures, particularly Transformer models, and experience with LLM training and fine-tuning. You'll be working with state-of-the-art technologies and techniques, including Chain-of-Thought prompting, Tree of Thoughts, and reinforcement learning for agent training.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $285,000 - $315,000, plus annual performance bonus and RSUs.
