The Productivity Engineering team is crucial in building products that power LinkedIn's business operations. They drive technology vision, architecture, and design systems that help the company deliver on major business processes including go-to-market, sales, finance, and customer support initiatives. The team focuses on delivering applications that enable seamless business operations while driving top-line growth and operational efficiency.

As a Staff Enterprise Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and architecting financial systems and business processes. The position requires a results-driven individual who can coach team members while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. You'll be challenged to think critically across various computer science disciplines, from product design and API development to scaling performance and ensuring 24/7 reliability.

The role involves significant technical leadership responsibilities, including driving large-scale, cross-functional programs and implementing system interoperability solutions. You'll work extensively with Oracle E-Business Suite R12, focusing on custom applications and standard modules like Receivables, Revenue Recognition, and Credit Management. A key aspect of the role involves developing and supporting integrations between Oracle EBS and various platforms including engineering systems, service provisioning tools, and Salesforce.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in enterprise software implementation and integration, with a strong background in financial systems. Technical expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Linux scripting, and cloud technologies (particularly Azure) is essential. The role requires both technical depth and leadership skills, as you'll be responsible for improving engineering productivity, maintaining development standards, and collaborating with cross-domain partner teams.

  • Drive innovation by designing, architecting, building and shipping software at scale
  • Improve craftsmanship by developing best practices and defining best strategies
  • Develop software that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly
  • Supply technical leadership for large-scale, cross functional programs
  • Implement system interoperability and business process automation tools
  • Deliver enhancements & support Projects in E-Business Suite R12
  • Develop APIs to support integrations between Oracle EBS and other platforms
  • Support integrations between Oracle EBS and other application platforms
  • Develop new strategies for improving internal processes

Requirements For Staff Enterprise Engineer, Business Applications

Linux
Java
  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience
  • 5+ years experience with software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
  • 5+ years experience with Enterprise Software Implementation and Integration experience
  • Experience with financial systems like Oracle, SAP, SFDC, D365
  • Experience in SQL Plus, PL/SQL, and LINUX scripting
  • Experience working with cloud technology such as Azure
  • Understanding of WebServices (SOAP, REST)
  • Understanding of Devops concepts (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
