Loadsmart, a unicorn logistics tech company valued at over $1 billion, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their remote team in Brazil. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, focusing on building and implementing analytics solutions for the company's data/metrics platform.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with various data teams, conceptualizing and implementing analytics and BI solutions. As the go-to person for internal analytics development, you'll collaborate with Product and Data Science teams, providing expertise in building data products.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Python and SQL, with experience in data warehousing, OLAP systems, and ETL processes. You'll need to be fluent in English and possess the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities For Analytics Engineer (Remote - Brazil)

  • Build Data Warehousing systems, reporting and analytics
  • Understand business needs that can be solved by using data
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications
  • Develop and maintain data models and data sets
  • Develop and maintain data integrations for customers

Requirements For Analytics Engineer (Remote - Brazil)

Python
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Experience building OLAP systems and creating dimensional models
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python
  • Python for data manipulation (mostly Pandas)
  • Experience with data warehouses and associated tooling
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and advanced SQL queries
  • Experience with data modeling and ETL tools
  • Ability to understand business needs and transform into technical requirements
  • Collaboration skills with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, data management, data privacy and governance
  • Self-starter, innovative, result-focused and team-oriented
  • Growth mindset and strong problem-solving skills
