Description For Sr Data Scientist

Join Lowe's Forecasting team as a Senior Data Scientist where you'll be at the forefront of building and deploying state-of-the-art predictive models. Responsibilities For Sr Data Scientist

  • Lead the full development lifecycle from POC, MVP to Production of ML models
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for training and deploying ML models
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers and product managers
  • Research and stay abreast of state-of-the-art machine learning technologies
  • Follow code standards and best practices
  • Prepare and present data stories to business partners for adoption
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements For Sr Data Scientist

Python
  • 4 years of experience executing and deploying data science, ML, DL, and generative AI solutions
  • 2 years of SQL and programming experience
  • Forecasting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science, data or information science, or related quantitative analytic field
  • 2 years of experience working with cross-functional partners (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience using multiple data systems and sources (preferred)
  • Master's degree in related field (preferred)
