The position focuses heavily on frontend development while maintaining full-stack capabilities. You'll be responsible for translating business requirements into high-quality code, building robust UI applications using React.js and related technologies in a microservices environment. The role requires expertise in modern JavaScript development practices, including test-driven development using tools like Jest and Enzyme.

As a senior engineer, you'll have the opportunity to guide and mentor other developers, contributing to both technical implementation and team growth. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and various CI/CD tools, allowing you to shape the technical direction of significant retail technology initiatives.

  • Translate business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs, and code modules
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and robust code with adequate test suits and observability frameworks
  • Guide application and software development teams in design and build of complex solutions
  • Mentor other engineers in software development technologies and processes
  • Automate and simplify team development, tests, and operations processes
  • Evaluate modern software tools and technologies to provide recommendations
