Description For Quality Engineer

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Regulatory Reporting team in Bucharest. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional with strong technical and financial systems background. The position involves ensuring quality assurance of the software delivery lifecycle for regulatory, post-trade, reconciliation, and data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of QA experience, preferably in financial software or institutions, with strong knowledge of automated testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver. Knowledge of regulatory reporting (MiFIR, EMIR) and financial markets is crucial. The role requires excellent analytical skills and proficiency in SQL and Java.

Responsibilities For Quality Engineer

  • Test PTRR Platform and Solutions as per defined requirements
  • Identify gaps in current testing coverage and develop new manual and automated test cases
  • Maintain exploratory and automated tests
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Identify product and project risks and ensure mitigation plans
  • Manage collaborators expectations and provide clear estimates
  • Present quality work and demo new features

Requirements For Quality Engineer

Java
  • 3+ years working as a QA professional
  • Good industry knowledge of financial terminology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies
  • SQL and Java experience
  • ISTQB / ISEB Foundation certificate (preferred)
  • Experience with automated testing (Java and Selenium WebDriver)
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting (MiFIR, EMIR)
  • Financial Markets and Financial Instruments knowledge
