Description For Operational Excellence Engineer

The Operational Excellence Engineer role reports to the Operational Excellence Lead and will be crucial in implementing Lyka's Operational Manufacturing System (LOMS) methodology. This position combines engineering expertise with lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement in their production facilities. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in FMCG environments, strong leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence. Responsibilities For Operational Excellence Engineer

  • Drive Operational Excellence practices and problem-solving
  • Conduct daily Gemba walks to ensure standards compliance
  • Develop and train teams on relevant standards including Autonomous Maintenance and SOPs
  • Provide support to Manufacturing team to achieve KPIs
  • Lead production trials to improve Gross Margin
  • Participate in new CAPEX projects and New Product Development
  • Support Engineering and R&D teams

Requirements For Operational Excellence Engineer

  • Degree in Engineering discipline (preferably Industrial)
  • 3-5 years experience in fast-paced FMCG environment and Lean Manufacturing
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in training and facilitation of Lean Manufacturing Fundamentals
  • Self-motivated with team orientation
