WebMethods Admin & Developer

Master-Works is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic WebMethods Admin & Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and optimizing WebMethods integrations to ensure seamless connectivity and efficiency across enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain integration solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients.

We are seeking an experienced Software AG webMethods Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with various Software AG products, primarily focusing on the webMethods suite. This role involves managing the webMethods products environment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance:

   • Design architecture topology for integration/APIM platforms
   • Install and configure webMethods Integration Servers and related components
   • Set up and configure webMethods Microservice Runtime (MSR) for containerized deployments
   • Configure and manage API Microgateway for API security
   • Create and oversee Docker containers for webMethods services, using Kubernetes for orchestration
   • Maintain high availability and optimal performance of host computer resources
   • Regularly update the webMethods environment across development, testing, and production

2. User and Security Management:

   • Oversee user accounts, roles, and permissions
   • Establish and uphold security policies and procedures

3. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

   • Monitor webMethods infrastructure and address issues
   • Implement monitoring solutions for containerized services using tools like Prometheus and Grafana
   • Diagnose and resolve problems related to microservices architecture
   • Troubleshoot webMethods integration flows and adapters

4. Backup and Recovery:

   • Establish and maintain backup and recovery strategies
   • Conduct regular system backups and recovery procedures

5. Patch Management and Upgrades:

   • Plan and implement patches and upgrades for webMethods servers
