Lead, Software Engineer - Mergers & Acquisitions

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for their Mergers & Acquisitions team to drive technical integration and commercial architecture. This role sits within Mastercard Technology M&A Commercial Architect (CA) team, supporting the complete lifecycle of M&A activities from strategic evaluation through integration.

The position requires a unique blend of technical leadership and business acumen, focusing on technical due diligence for acquisitions and strategic technology integration. You'll be responsible for partnering with target companies and internal teams to evaluate technologies, policies, and architectures, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's standards while identifying opportunities for innovation.

As the commercial workstream expert, you'll develop comprehensive technology designs and integration approaches, working closely with internal and external SMEs. The role demands strong relationship-building skills, deep technical knowledge across multiple domains (including cloud, infrastructure, and security), and excellent communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex technical project delivery, architectural design, and senior-level presentations.
