Senior Creative Engineer II

Mediaocean is seeking a Senior Creative Engineer II to join their Creative Services group. This role requires extensive creative development experience in the media and advertising space, with a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape and dynamic creative (display and video). The ideal candidate will be responsible for complex development tasks, building new frameworks, following best practices, and implementing feed solutions. They will work closely with Creative Producers and Client Success teams to scope, manage, and support client projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as a high-level resource for development, troubleshooting, and creative solutions
• Client-facing scoping assistance and ongoing project management
• Completing full development of dynamic creative at all levels and frameworks
• Functional QA and code review
• Thought leadership for advancements in creative tools and processes
• Partnering with Solutions Engineers on proof of concept or app building

The ideal candidate should have:

• 6+ years of direct experience in the advertising industry as a creative developer/engineer
• 2+ years of leading design projects
• Deep knowledge of campaign lifecycle and ad serving technologies
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS, including ES6 practices and data parsing
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and AfterEffects
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
