Data Engineer, Analytics

Meta (formerly Facebook) is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Analytics team. This role combines technical expertise in data engineering with business impact through informed decision-making. The position offers both remote work flexibility and an opportunity to work from Meta's Menlo Park office.

The role requires a Master's degree and 3 years of experience, focusing on designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, ETL processes, and sophisticated data models. You'll work with cutting-edge big data technologies while collaborating with engineers, product managers, and data scientists across Meta's family of products including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and their emerging AR/VR initiatives.

Key responsibilities include designing data models, implementing ETL processes, managing data security and privacy, and optimizing data pipelines. You'll need strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and big data technologies, combined with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

The compensation package is highly competitive, ranging from $220,720 to $235,400 annually, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
