Description For Electrical Engineer, Power

Meta is seeking a passionate Electrical Engineer to join their Compute Hardware Design team, focusing on power systems for AI infrastructure. The role involves designing custom Accelerator modules for Meta's growing infrastructure at scale. The team works on delivering production-ready modules for Meta's custom AI silicon, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams internally and industry partners externally.

The position offers an opportunity to work on massive hardware infrastructure supporting Meta's computational challenges. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing power delivery solutions for high-performance AI modules, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability. The role requires expertise in DC-DC voltage conversion, power delivery systems, and hardware validation.

Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer, Power

  • Develop board power delivery and DC-DC voltage conversion technology
  • Specify, design, and develop power delivery and DC-DC power conversion in high-power AI modules
  • Lead the bring-up, validation of power subsystem to achieve highest efficiency, reliability, and scale-ability
  • Support hyper-scale deployment and proactively gather learning for next generation design
  • Collaborate with open source hardware community to drive innovation for large scale infrastructure

Requirements For Electrical Engineer, Power

Linux
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Degree, with 6+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with validation and design of on-board DC-DC voltage regulators and hot-swap circuitry
  • Experience with high power and high current subsystems of CPU, GPU, SoC, ASIC and/or FPGA
  • Experience with analyzing and resolving power delivery related hardware issues
  • Familiar with schematic and PCB CAD programs
  • Experience working with peers and cross functional teams
