Description For Partner Engineer, Generative AI

Meta is seeking an experienced Partner Engineer to join their AI Partner Engineering team, focusing on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role represents a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, collaborating with industry leaders and major cloud service providers.

The position involves working directly with Meta's Llama engineering and AI research teams, engaging with some of the world's most influential companies in the AI space. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in PyTorch and deep learning, particularly in areas such as natural language processing, large language models, generative AI, and reinforcement learning (RLHF).

Key responsibilities include building and launching generative AI solutions using Meta's Llama and other state-of-the-art LLMs, working closely with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) on integrations, and driving the adoption of Meta's AI/ML platform offerings. The role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be responsible for developing reference architectures, technical accelerators, and best practices while also representing Meta at developer conferences and events.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $147,000 to $203,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Based in Bellevue, WA, this role provides an opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technology while having strategic influence on both partners and internal teams at Meta.

Responsibilities For Partner Engineer, Generative AI

  • Apply AI and machine learning techniques to build and launch generative AI solutions using Meta's Llama and other state of the art LLMs
  • Work closely with cloud providers on deep learning & Llama integrations
  • Define and execute strategy to drive adoption of Llama and Meta's AI/ML platform offerings
  • Provide thought leadership and evangelize Llama & Generative AI services
  • Develop reference architectures and technical materials
  • Work with partners to optimize existing generative AI models
  • Lead technical strategy and roadmap for strategic partners

  • 5+ years experience as software engineer, technical consultant or partner/sales engineer

  • Software development experience in Python, Java, Go, Rust, C/C++
  • Experience with LLMs such as Llama, GPT, Claude, Falcon
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and/or JAX
