Software Engineer, Product

Meta is seeking experienced full-stack Software Engineers to join their product teams, working on products used by billions of people worldwide including Messenger, Video, Groups, News Feed, and Search. As a Software Engineer, Product at Meta, you'll be responsible for full-stack development using various programming languages, including Meta's internal language Hack. You'll also work on scaling back-end services and building report interfaces.

The position requires 8+ years of programming experience and 6+ years of experience building large-scale applications. You'll need proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Hack, and experience leading major initiatives and teams. The role demands strong technical leadership, with responsibilities including setting team direction, mentoring others, and ensuring high-quality code through reviews and testing.
