Description For Solution Portfolio Manager

The HR Technology team at Meta is seeking a Solution Portfolio Manager to join their team. This role involves driving portfolio, program, and project execution, rollup reporting and communication, and roadmap prioritization planning within the portfolio. The ideal candidate will facilitate collaboration across teams and partners, leverage technology to improve efficiency, and use data insights to optimize project objectives and resourcing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple concurrent portfolios and programs with cross-functional stakeholder engagements
  • Partnering with Solution Design and People Engineering teams to drive execution of technology solutions
  • Establishing success metrics for technology portfolio and tracking program performance
  • Leading large-scale projects through planning, development, launch, stabilization, and user adoption
  • Managing process documentation and improving existing processes
  • Communicating project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
  • Taking a broad perspective on problems and examining them from different angles
  • Building and refining communication strategies to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Advocating for a data-driven approach across the organization

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Technical and Analytical Program Management
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across various organizational levels
  • Knowledge of technical project management, SDLC methodology, and waterfall/agile project execution
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of HR technology and infrastructure, PMP certification, Agile Project Management certification, experience coordinating technical specs across platforms, and understanding of industry platforms in the HR Tech space.

Responsibilities For Solution Portfolio Manager

  • Manage multiple concurrent portfolios and/or programs with multiple work streams that require cross-functional stakeholders' engagements
  • Partner with Solution Design and People Engineering team to drive execution of technology solutions that best serves the People@ goals

  • Take a broad perspective to problems and examine them from different perspectives

  • Advocate data-driven approach across the organization
  • Influence solutions design outcomes in cross-functional settings

Requirements For Solution Portfolio Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Technical and Analytical Program Management
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across various levels of the organization
