Description For Software Engineer

Michelin, a global leader in sustainable mobility with over 114,000 employees from 170 different nationalities, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Pune. The position requires expertise in software development following Lean & Agile methodologies, with a strong focus on code quality and security. As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions, writing clean and beautiful code, and ensuring proper testing and debugging procedures are followed. You'll work under the supervision of senior and lead engineers while contributing to various aspects of the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include creating business value through software development, adapting functional and technical specifications, executing controls and tests, and supporting solution deployment. The ideal candidate should be familiar with DevOps practices, security principles (SecByD), and modern software development practices including SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, and TDD.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer

  • Develop and maintain software following Lean & Agile methods
  • Write beautiful and clean code with proper testing and debugging
  • Provide technical support by diagnosing and solving simple incidents
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Work closely with business partners and UX/UI experts
