AMERs East Construction Quality Manager

Microsoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization is the engine that powers our cloud services. Our data center construction team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality data centers for our cloud services. As we continue to revolutionize the way construction projects are planned, managed, and executed, we are seeking to fill the role of AMERs East Construction Quality Manager to join our diverse and inclusive team.

The AMERs East Construction Quality Manager is responsible for implementation of the construction quality program across all Microsoft sites. They will utilize industry best practices and lessons learned to implement a quality management program to ensure site teams adhere to project parameters and meet the highest standards of performance, functionality, and safety.

This role will collaborate with construction, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure that quality tools and processes fit the needs of the business and are continuously improved to deliver best-in-class performance on Data Center build projects. The position reports directly to the AMERs East Construction Quality Director and works across regions to ensure consistency and continuous improvement in the QAQC (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) program.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership of Safety and Quality Programs
• Oversight of project teams across multiple regions and campuses
• Promoting collaboration with partners and stakeholders
• Creating and maintaining best practices for high-quality delivery solutions
• Driving deployment of Quality Programs
• Facilitating decision-making and managing change
• Providing clear communications for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program
• Reporting Regional Quality Performance
• Managing Regional compliance with quality requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
• 4+ years of experience in managing quality programs on large scale construction programs
• 4+ years experience using Microsoft 360 Suite, BIM, Bluebeam, and construction software tools
