Back-End Software Engineer IIs & Senior Software Engineers

Microsoft Security is seeking talented Back-End Software Engineers to join their Cloud Ecosystem Security Team. This role is part of Microsoft's mission to reshape security and empower users, customers, and developers with end-to-end security solutions.

The team is building a SaaS platform that enables organizations to discover, manage and govern their data across on-premises and multi-cloud environments. This serverless platform helps build security, governance, compliance, and privacy applications at scale. The platform provides holistic understanding of hybrid data estates through automated data discovery and sensitive data classification.

As a Back-End Software Engineer, you'll:

• Build next-generation security data platform components
• Partner with Microsoft Security and Azure teams on architectural decisions
• Develop core services that form the platform's foundation
• Enable unified experience for managing data across multiple clouds
• Focus on security, governance, and compliance solutions

The position offers:

• Competitive base salary range of $100,600 - $234,700 (varies by location)

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of engineering experience

• Background in scalable architecture and cloud technologies
